What we know is that the government considers Real Estate and Property Management an essential service and we are open for business. Please be assured, real estate is a long term investment from recent results we can see they’re many buyers and sellers active in the market.

Our Guarantee: All residential properties listed with Frank Gordon between 1st March – 30th June that need additional time to sell/lease due to COVID-19 are eligible to be extended on REA, Domain and our website at no cost to you. Plus any property listed during this time that needs to be withdrawn is eligible to be re-listed with our agency and uploaded the above portals at no cost to you when relisted within 6 months.
Safer and Secure appointments: All inspections are now run as private appointments. We are utilising digital technology (Via InspectRE) which allows buyers to view available appointments and book an inspection time that works for them. Private appointments allow us to ensure strict hygiene practices are followed including hand santiser on entry/exit and reducing the amount of interaction with shared surfaces.
Tighter conditions of entry: As per government instructions anyone who is showing flu-like symptoms, has traveled in the last 14 days or is in close contact with someone who meets the above criteria is required to self-isolate and will not be allowed to enter our office or any of our properties. Running our inspections as private appointments allows us to confirm the appointment on the day and add another level of control for these conditions.
Utilising online media: As more people are at home and on their phone we are implementing virtual tours of all properties as well as increasing online content for our listings. We will be working with individuals affected by the above conditions to provide Face-Time tours of the property as well as auction streaming, online bidding and digital contracts (via GAVL) as required.
Sale method: There four options for any sale: (1) Auction, (2) Private sale, (3) Off-Market and (4) Expression of Interest. We expect the trend will be away from on-site auction and towards more discreet methods, and we expect a rise in prior offers being put forward to vendors.
Flexibility technology: Frank Gordon remains open for business as usual. We continue to monitor government advice and should we be required to work offsite there is a robust plan and cloud based technology in place to allow us to do so with ease.
